No LRP TCM in 2016!
The LRP Touring Car of Masters will not take place 2016. The extensive repair works at the sports hall at Ruesselsheim – the current place of event - are a topic.
LRP electronics and the VFR trunk home announce that the LRP Touring Car of Masters will not take place in 2016. For many fans and Racer this will be a sad message. Nevertheless running perfect a combination of professional event with a WM-character is and of Germany of largest running series.
Unfortunately we can affect the circumstances, which force us to this refusal, not even. The sports hall in trunk home, since 2 years venue of the LRP TCM, is completely reorganized. The work has a volume of 7,2 millions euros and to cover among other things the escape routes, the technical plants like the separation from drinking and fire fighting water, exchange of the fire alarm system, the reconstruction of the current supply uvm. The conclusion of the work delays itself, so that the event date is not to be held no more. Therefore LRP and the VfR decided by agreement to this step.
We regret this decision extraordinarily and hope for the understanding with all drivers and also fans of one the largest and bestbesetzten tour car running world-wide.
